Hartford Steam Boiler Selects Guidewire
The Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Co., an
engineering and technical risk insurer has selected Guidewire
ClaimCenter as its new platform for claims management. Guidewire
Software Inc. is a company offering software products to P&C
insurers.
ClaimCenter’s business rules enable claims
organizations to define, enforce and refine their preferred
claim-handling practices. ClaimCenter is designed to improve speed and
accuracy, reduce loss-adjustment expense, and enable proactive
management of claims. ClaimCenter is available as a standalone system or
as part of Guidewire InsuranceSuite. It can be integrated to an
insurer’s legacy systems or third-party applications.
Hartford
Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Co. (HSB), wanted to offer
adjusters a tool that would increase efficiency and proficiency. The
company is in production with ClaimCenter across all of its personal and
commercial lines of business in the United States. The application is
enabling HSB to deliver communications across the lifecycle of a claim;
integrate with third-party systems for claims handling; and gain insight
into claims operations to drive process and service improvements.
